The current Halo development team, 343 Industries, have announced a new Halo title for Windows platforms and Steam.
Halo: Spartan Strike is going to be another top down shooter much like the previous Halo: Spartan Assault. This new Halo title is going to be available to purchase on December 14th and will take place during the fan favourite events of Halo 2.
343 producer Fred LaPorte has given a number of different and new things that we will see in Halo: Spartan Strike such as new vehicles, the Prometheans and better controls when played on mobile devices. Lots of details on this new Halo title are given by LaPorte while he commentates over some Spartan Strike gameplay with IGN.
One of the best moments of this video is when LaPorte mentions that were will be no microtransactions, an aspect that almost everyone disliked about the previous Halo top down shooter, Spartan Assault. It is also mentioned that through playing Halo: Spartan Strike you will unlock some cool rewards for Halo: The Master Chief Collection.
Halo: Spartan Strike will cost around £5 and if you purchase the game on one windows platform you will receive it for free on the others that you own.
